The coordinators help deliver capital projects that maintain facilities and infrastructure supporting the Department’s mission. They serve as the Owner’s field representatives, monitor construction work, verify contract compliance, document field conditions, and coordinate with project managers, contractors, engineers, consultants, agency staff, and other partners. Fieldwork can involve uneven terrain, steep slopes, adverse weather, ladders, boats, and elevated locations. The role involves frequent interaction with internal and external customers, vendors, and partners, including federal, local, interagency, and intra-agency contacts.
