About The Position

TRC Earthworks, an environmental remediation construction firm, is seeking Construction Operators to safely operate construction equipment on large or complex projects. Equipment may include skidsteers, backhoes, trackhoes, front loaders, dozers, and off-road haul equipment. Operators help ensure construction activities are conducted safely and meet client needs, while completing work on time and within the specified scope and budget. They coordinate with project supervisors, mentor project staff, communicate project objectives with technical experts, and safely excavate around underground utilities.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to perform physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks as required.
• Ability to work in all weather.
• Punctuality and reliability.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of experience in a construction operator role in the oil and gas construction or remediation industry.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain construction equipment and machines.
• Assist technicians and other laborers when necessary.
• Prepare construction sites and develop a plan to complete the project.
• Load and unload construction materials.
• Implement HSE plans before commencing projects.
• Provide instruction and training to laborers.
• Complete, maintain, and submit paperwork required for projects.
• Safely excavate around underground utilities.
• Coordinate with the project supervisor, mentor project staff, and communicate project objectives with technical experts.
• Complete tasks on time and within the specified project scope and budget.
