About The Position

Cash Construction, a MasTec Company, is seeking a full-time Construction Operations Intern for Spring 2027. The intern will assist the operations team with projects related to project management, procedure development, quality, and special projects, applying skills and interests developed through school in a professional setting. The position is onsite. The intern will learn and perform project management functions including estimating, schedule planning, project controls, and project reporting, and will complete special projects under close supervision. The role also emphasizes personal responsibility for health and safety and working toward Cash Construction’s Zero Injury principles.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program in project management, construction management, or a related field.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions with precise execution.
Basic computer operation skills and familiarity with internet-based program navigation.
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet applications.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage numerous assignments simultaneously.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
Ability to interact professionally with clients, managers, and employees.
Personal responsibility for working toward MasTec’s Zero Injury principles.

Responsibilities

Learn and perform project management functions, including estimating, schedule planning, project controls, and project reporting.
Work under close supervision to complete special projects as assigned.
Take reasonable care of personal and others’ health and safety, and take responsibility for working toward Cash Construction’s Zero Injury principles.
