About The Position

CMT, a Utah based materials engineering company, is seeking an Experienced Construction Materials Technicians for a position located in West Valley UT. This person will perform routine testing of construction materials in the field, in order to verify conformance to construction plans and specifications. This position will perform and document routine field tests for the purpose of verifying conformance to construction plans and specifications. Prepares daily reports and datasheets. May be called upon to perform various tasks at the discretion of the supervisor.

Requirements

• ACI Field 1 certification
• SRDTT certification
• WAQTC In-Place Density certification
• At least 2 years of experience on the field.
• Ability to pass a drug test
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• High School diploma or equivalent
• 2 + years of related work experience
• Proficient in materials testing
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work effectively in a group setting.
• Ability to take tests and obtain certifications.
• Familiar and comfortable working in Microsoft Office
• Must have Clean MVR
