About The Position

Edward Rose & Sons is seeking a Construction Laborer to join its team in Dublin, Ohio. The position involves physical labor and use of a variety of hand and power tools. The ideal candidate has basic construction skills, can complete small jobs independently, is organized, communicates effectively, and maintains a positive attitude. The role is designed as a steppingstone toward a Construction Supervision position. The Construction Laborer represents the company professionally, completes assigned work to quality and quantity standards, and demonstrates knowledge of construction and safety measures. The role requires physical activity, including climbing, walking, kneeling, standing, squatting, twisting, bending, and regularly lifting at least 50 pounds. Full-time work is required; overtime is available.

Requirements

Effectively and professionally communicate with a diverse group of individuals.
Meet the physical requirements of the position, including climbing ladders and stairs; walking, kneeling, standing, squatting, twisting, and bending for long periods.
Regularly lift at least 50 pounds.
Have experience with hand and power tools.
Be punctual, dependable, and able to work full-time.
Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of multi-family, three-story, wood-frame construction is a major plus.

Responsibilities

Represent the company professionally and demonstrate sound judgment and conduct.
Complete assigned tasks while ensuring the quality and quantity of work and maintaining high standards.
Demonstrate working knowledge of construction and safety measures.
Use analysis, observation, and time-management skills effectively.
Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.
Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment.
Maintain and organize tools, supplies, and other company property.
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
