About The Position

SITECH Chesapeake, a wholly owned subsidiary of Carter Machinery Company, Inc., is hiring a Construction GPS Digital Solutions Specialist in Annapolis Junction, Maryland. The Construction GPS Digital Solutions Specialist supports the development and growth of Sitech Chesapeake's digital construction services business model deployment. Responsibilities include identifying opportunities to provide field survey services, demonstrating benefits of using SITECH digital services and the products used, conducting field training, and overseeing growth and development of 3D modeling services.

Requirements

Minimum of five years' progressive land survey construction experience
3D GPS modeling experience
Must be able to use land/construction surveying equipment.
Must be able to read and interpret CAD construction plans.
Must be able to manage subcontractors and customers simultaneously.
Must be able to think quickly to handle customer situations to produce immediate results.
Must be able to handle a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment.
Must have strong mechanical aptitude and skills.
Must have excellent driving record.
Must be able to travel and work flexible hours as required.

Nice To Haves

Survey and construction experience using Trimble Site Positioning Systems and Machine Grade Control Systems, preferred
Licensed land surveyor in VA, MD or DE
Civil engineering experience a plus
