About The Position

Requirements

  • Associates degree in STEM or business with 7+ years of experience with data governance
  • OR, Bachelor’s degree in STEM or business with 5+ years of data governance
  • OR Master’s degree in STEM or business with 3+ years of data governance
  • OR PhD in degree in STEM or business
  • OR In lieu of experience, 9+ years of experience in
  • To be eligible for consideration, you must be a U.S. Citizen

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in designing and implementing data governance/data management solutions
  • Demonstrated project management experience in data governance environment
  • Proven stakeholder management skills, with the ability to shape and translate business needs into comprehensive solutions
  • Experience with policy development in a data governance environment
  • Experience with data lifecycle management
  • DAMA CDMP Certification
  • DGSP Certification
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to influence at all levels

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement data governance frameworks, policies, standards, and procedures
  • Configure and manage data governance tools (e.g., data catalog, lineage, data quality platforms)
  • Collaborate with data owners, stewards, and IT teams to ensure alignment with governance standards
  • Define and monitor data quality rules, metrics, and remediation workflows
  • Support metadata management, data lineage tracking, and business glossary development
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Facilitate data stewardship programs and governance councils
