About The Position

Williams Contracting is looking for a dependable Construction Driver & Field Laborer to support our custom residential construction team. This is a hands-on role that combines driving, material handling, site organization, and general construction support. You will help move materials, assist field crews, keep jobsites clean and organized, and make sure the team has what it needs to keep work progressing efficiently. This could be a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in being reliable, and wants to build experience within a professional residential construction company.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Ability to pass a driving record review
Reliable personal transportation to and from work
Dependable, punctual, and professional
Comfortable performing physical labor throughout the workday
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in active construction environments
Comfortable working in and around clients' homes
Ability to follow instructions and company procedures
Verifiable work history and professional references
Strong awareness of safety and jobsite cleanliness

Nice To Haves

Previous construction or jobsite experience
Experience handling building materials
Familiarity with basic hand and power tools
Previous delivery, warehouse, landscaping, remodeling, or labor experience
Construction experience is helpful, but it is not required for the right person with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

Transport tools, materials, equipment, and supplies between jobsites and other locations as needed
Load and unload building materials safely and efficiently
Help organize materials before and after delivery
Make sure materials and equipment arrive where they are needed
Operate company vehicles safely and professionally
Assist with pickups, deliveries, and other field support tasks
Assist carpenters and field crews with general construction tasks
Move and stage materials throughout the jobsite
Help with site setup and breakdown
Support cleanup throughout the workday
Keep work areas clear, safe, and organized
Assist with basic construction tasks as directed by field leadership
Maintain clean and professional jobsites
Help organize tools, materials, and equipment
Remove debris and keep access areas clear
Protect materials and finished surfaces
Help prepare work areas for upcoming trades and activities
Follow company safety procedures and jobsite requirements
Use tools and equipment responsibly
Report unsafe conditions or damaged equipment
Represent Williams Contracting professionally while driving and working on client properties
Follow direction from supervisors and communicate clearly with the team
