About The Position

The Los Angeles, California office of Lewis Brisbois is seeking an attorney to join its Construction Litigation Practice. The practice includes nearly 80 construction law attorneys nationwide and represents defendants in significant-exposure construction matters, including property and personal injury claims involving businesses and individuals who may be insured or self-insured. The group handles a broad range of matters and focuses particularly on catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and complex litigation cases. Its partners and senior associates are experienced trial attorneys, and the practice has received recognition for defense verdicts and other achievements. The firm is open to attorneys with insurance defense experience as well as developing attorneys with excellent skills and substantive litigation experience in another area. Compensation is listed at $135,000 to $220,000 per year. The position is associated with the Los Angeles office and is marked hybrid.

Requirements

Strong research and writing skills.
At least 1 year of experience in all phases of insurance defense litigation; the posting identifies a range of 1 to 15 years of experience.
Admission to the California Bar.
Substantive litigation experience.
