Construction Defect Associate Attorney
About The Position
The Atlanta, Georgia office of Lewis Brisbois is seeking an attorney to join its Construction Litigation Practice. The practice includes nearly 80 construction law attorneys nationwide and represents defendants in significant-exposure construction matters, including property and personal injury claims involving businesses and individuals who may be insured or self-insured. The team handles a wide range of matters and focuses on litigation and trials involving catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and complex cases. Partners and senior associates are experienced trial attorneys, and the practice has received notable recognition for defense verdicts. The firm is also interested in talented developing attorneys with substantive litigation experience in any litigation arena, even if they do not have insurance defense experience.
Requirements
- Admission to the Georgia Bar is required.
- One to seven years of experience in all phases of insurance defense litigation, including case management, motion practice, and discovery, and handling hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials.
- Strong research and writing skills.
- Substantive litigation experience.
