About The Position

The Construction Administrative Assistant plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the department and project teams. This position provides hands-on experience in administrative functions and job cost accounting, including billing, AP processing, documentation management, and project lifecycle support from startup through close-out. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and time management skills, along with the ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and maintain accuracy under strict deadlines. This position is primarily based in Colorado with little to no overnight travel.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience in accounting and billing (construction or related industry preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to learn accounting and ERP systems
  • Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Strong technical writing and documentation skills
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Ability to take initiative and learn quickly
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Valid driver’s license required

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • Experience in oil and gas (preferred but not required)
  • Netsuite Experience

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit monthly client billings
  • Manage, maintain, and track multiple spreadsheets
  • Compile and communicate data clearly to managers and stakeholders
  • Generate and maintain job cost reports
  • Review, code, and process Accounts Payable (AP) invoices
  • Enter and maintain equipment unit data in NetSuite
  • Support project startup through close-out documentation
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
