About The Position

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support its heavy-duty Scaffold Operations in Bensalem, PA. This role is based in a high-volume, dynamic construction yard and rental facility and requires prior experience in the construction, scaffolding, industrial, or equipment rental industries. The Administrative Assistant will handle crucial operational support and clerical duties, bridging the gap between the office, yard, and project managers.

Requirements

  • Strong preference for candidates with a scaffolding, mechanical, or construction background who understand the terminology and pace.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills; ability to confidently present information to top management.
  • Must be highly computer literate in MS Word and Excel for tracking inventory and operational metrics.
  • Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working both indoors and outdoors (in the yard) when required by operational needs.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience working in the construction, scaffolding, industrial, or equipment rental industries is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide dedicated administrative support specifically tailored to Scaffold Operations, tracking project-related paperwork and logistics.
  • Read, analyze, and interpret project financial reports, billing, and legal/safety documents.
  • Respond effectively to inquiries or complaints from scaffold customers, field employees, and branch management.
  • Maintain strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Perform other operational duties as assigned by the manager to keep the branch running smoothly.
