Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the HR Advisor will provide excellent support and service to internal clients and will act as an ambassador for the company's values and image.

Requirements

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in administration, human resources management, or industrial relations, or other related training.
  • Ten (10) or more years of experience in human resources management.
  • Member of the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés.
  • Very good knowledge of the MS Office environment.
  • Bilingualism in French and English.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a resource person for managers and employees on all HR-related questions.
  • Support supervisors and managers in applying the mutual agreement, policies, procedures, and good HR practices.
  • Advise supervisors and managers on performance management, labor relations, skills development, and engagement.
  • Participate in resolving complex employee situations.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and practices.
  • Ensure the coordination and follow-up of HR files involving American corporate teams.
  • Act as the main point of contact between Canadian employees and American HR partners.
  • Support employees whose functional management falls under the United States and ensure a consistent employee experience.
  • Collaborate with corporate teams to ensure compliance with regulatory, documentary, and training requirements.
  • Ensure the governance, coordination, and continuous improvement of the company's training program.
  • Maintain skills matrices, training paths, and qualification files.
  • Ensure the continuity of the onboarding, integration, training, and evaluation process for new hires.
  • Coordinate the various stakeholders involved in training (production, quality, OHS, continuous improvement, etc.).
  • Monitor training schedules and skills assessments in collaboration with managers.
  • Produce and analyze performance indicators related to training and skills development.
  • Participate in the evolution of training management tools, particularly the Poka system.
  • Participate in various HR projects aimed at improving the employee experience and organizational efficiency.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new HR initiatives.
  • Support internal and external audits related to human resources and training.
  • Actively participate in the organization of corporate activities.
  • Perform all other tasks required by the nature of the function.
