About The Position

Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Conference Services Manager for the Barton Creek Resort & Spa. This position is eligible for the Omni Sales Incentive Plan and Omni's Work From Home Program, offering one WFH day after 90 days of employment, subject to GM/DOSM discretion and guidelines. The role involves coordinating detailed program schedules, acting as a liaison between clients and staff, recommending facility services, and preparing event orders and budget estimates.

Requirements

Minimum one year planning experience, preferably in a hotel or resort.
Must have working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
Must be organized and detail oriented with ability to multitask.

Nice To Haves

College degree preferred, work experience can substitute for education.
Delphi experience is also a plus.

Responsibilities

Coordinate a detailed schedule of programs to include meeting set-up, audio/visual requirements, room reservations, food & beverage and special functions.
Lead client through all aspects of planning resulting in a complete, detailed program.
Act as Barton Creek's liaison between client and staff.
Recommend full usage of facility services to client.
Be up-to-date on current pricing and operational procedures.
Prepare detailed banquet event orders through Delphi for use by client and operational staff.
Prepare budget estimates for each group.
Prepare detailed meeting room and function room diagrams for operational areas.
Attend weekly resume meeting to discuss upcoming programs with Department Heads.
Monitor client's program while on property to ensure a well-run meeting.
Track daily progress and relate any changes to the group's agenda to appropriate departments.
Attend bi-weekly Group Pickup led by Director of Revenue Management.
Attend department meetings and other company required trainings.
Complete other duties as assigned by management.
