About The Position

Archer Western Construction, LLC is seeking a Concrete Finisher for the WMW/Central Valley WRF in South Salt Lake, Utah. The primary function is to smooth and finish recently poured concrete surfaces to specified quality and textures using hand and/or power tools. Requirements

3–5 years of verifiable experience preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
May be required to work in adverse weather conditions.
Ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures.
Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly.
Strong work ethic and desire to learn.
Good manual dexterity; the work may involve standing, bending, kneeling, or sitting for long periods.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

Level and smooth edges and finish surfaces of concrete structures.
Repair rough or defective areas of concrete surfaces, including applying cementitious products such as cement, sand, and other pigments.
Grout and plug surfaces, including dry packing, and chip concrete to prepare the finished product.
Install and finish epoxy compounds on concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
