About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher with a strong background in concrete work, including finishing, forming, and restoration. The role involves producing high-quality concrete finishes on various construction projects while following safety standards and project specifications. The Concrete Finisher works with team members on construction sites to complete projects efficiently and on time.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction processes.
• Proficiency in construction estimating and planning for materials needed.
• Experience with hardscape installation, including patios and walkways.
• Familiarity with concrete finishing techniques and equipment operation.
• Knowledge of carpentry, including frame carpentry, trim carpentry, and metal stud framing.
• Ability to perform plastering, stucco application, masonry work, and flooring installation.
• Competence in tile laying and caulking for seamless finishes.
• Experience with renovation projects requiring attention to detail in restoration work.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely on construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up work areas by clearing debris and ensuring safety measures are in place.
• Operate concrete mixers and other power tools to mix and pour concrete.
• Perform concrete forming, finishing, and restoration tasks according to project specifications.
• Install rebar and other reinforcement materials as needed for structural integrity.
• Read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements and dimensions.
• Use hand tools and heavy equipment safely to complete tasks efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members on construction site activities to support timely project completion.
• Perform heavy lifting as required for material handling and installation tasks.
• Maintain a clean work environment by properly disposing of waste materials.
