About The Position

Planned Companies is hiring a motivated, courteous, and knowledgeable Concierge to welcome tenants, guests, and vendors and help ensure they have a positive experience. The role provides individualized services based on tenants’ personalities, lifestyles, needs, and expectations, while supporting a welcoming, presentable, and safe property environment.

The position is full-time in Reston, Virginia, with a schedule of Monday 8 a.m.–8 p.m., Tuesday and Wednesday 2 p.m.–8 p.m., Thursday 12 p.m.–8 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m.–6 p.m. The pay rate is $19.50 per hour.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of customer service experience.
• Desire and passion to provide a warm and welcoming hello to everyone.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of local attractions and establishments.
• Polite, friendly, and self-assured demeanor, with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet, announce, and direct tenants, guests, and vendors entering the building.
• Develop and maintain relationships with tenants and provide individualized experiences based on their personalities, lifestyles, needs, and expectations.
• Schedule reservations and appointments at restaurants, businesses, hotels, and entertainment venues.
• Plan and organize on-site events.
• Provide directions and referrals and help people access local entertainment, dining, retail shopping, sporting events, tourist attractions, and car services.
• Document, secure, and track mail, deliveries, and vendor services in designated areas.
• Answer telephones and monitor the lobby.
• Maintain and control keys and access cards.
