About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring Concierge Security Officers for a customer-focused security role in Chicago, Illinois. Officers work with people in settings such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers, building connections and helping visitors feel confident and welcome. Four schedules are available: full-time Saturday through Tuesday, 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.; full-time Monday through Friday, 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.; part-time Saturday and Sunday, 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Monday through Wednesday, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.; or part-time Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Thursday and Friday, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The wage is $22.60 per hour. Uniforms are provided at no cost, and DailyPay is available to employees. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Have a valid Illinois PERC.
• Have a valid Illinois driver's license.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be able to provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be able to pass an extensive screening process.
• Have exceptional customer service skills.
• Have basic phone and computer skills.
• Hold a state license if required.

Nice To Haves

• Security, military, or law enforcement experience.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, verify their identities, and guide them.
• Manage access control.
• Conduct regular patrols to identify potential risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Answer questions in person or by phone.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
• Help ensure the safety and protection of people and property.
