About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring Concierge Security Officers in Chicago, Illinois. The role emphasizes customer service and building meaningful connections while working with people in settings such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers. Four schedules are available: full-time Saturday through Tuesday, 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.; full-time Monday through Friday, 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.; part-time Saturday and Sunday, 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Monday through Wednesday, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.; or part-time Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Thursday and Friday, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The position pays $22.60 per hour. DailyPay is available to GardaWorld employees. Uniforms are provided at no cost, and career growth opportunities are available. Employment is contingent on successful completion of a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Hold a valid Illinois PERC.
• Hold a valid Illinois driver's license.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process, including a background check and drug screening after an offer of employment.
• Have exceptional customer service skills.
• Be proficient in basic phone and computer skills.
• Hold a state license if required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, verify their identities, and provide directions or guidance.
• Manage access control.
• Conduct regular patrols to identify potential risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Answer questions in person or by phone.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
• Help ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
