About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Concierge Security Officer for a corporate setting in San Diego, California. The role emphasizes customer service and building meaningful connections while providing security in environments such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers. The position offers two 40-hour weekly schedules: first shift, Friday through Tuesday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; or second shift, Friday through Tuesday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The hourly wage is $22.44. DailyPay is available to GardaWorld employees. A uniform is provided at no cost. The company describes opportunities for career growth.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Have exceptional customer service skills.
• Have basic phone and computer skills.
• Hold a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and have completed additional 32-hour BSIS security trainings; additional security training may be obtained during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, verify their identities, and guide them.
• Manage access control.
• Conduct regular patrols to identify potential risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Answer questions in person or by phone.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
• Help ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
