About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Concierge Security Officer for a customer-service-focused security role in San Diego, California. The officer works with people in a corporate setting and helps create a welcoming, reassuring experience while protecting individuals and property. The position offers two 40-hour weekly schedules: Friday through Tuesday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., or Friday through Tuesday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The hourly wage is $22.44. A uniform is provided at no cost. Additional offerings include a benefits package and career growth opportunities.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Have exceptional customer service skills.
• Be proficient in basic phone and computer skills.
• Have a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and additional 32-hour BSIS security training; additional security training may be obtained during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, verify their identities, and guide them.
• Manage access control.
• Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Answer questions in person or by phone.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
• Help ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
