About The Position

The Concessions Worker prepares and serves concession items and beverages to guests, ensures food is presented to a high standard, and operates a cash register to accept payment. The role also involves maintaining stock and supply levels, responding to guest requests and concerns, and keeping the workspace clean and organized. Workers serving alcoholic beverages must do so responsibly and check identification in accordance with applicable state and federal regulations. Excellent attendance is required in accordance with the attendance policy. The hourly rate is $11.00–$14.00, and the role is tip eligible. This position will remain open until December 31, 2026.

Requirements

Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, positive attitude with coworkers, managers, volunteers, and guests.
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
Three or more months of experience in the food service industry.
Previous cash-handling experience, or willingness to learn to operate a cash register and its corresponding system.

Responsibilities

Take orders, build orders, operate the cash register, and complete sales transactions.
Build orders and prepare food, with knowledge of all areas of concession operations.
Maintain stock and supply levels and communicate low-stock items to the Concessions Stand Manager.
Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including disposing of garbage and cleaning dishes.
Serve beverages, including alcoholic beverages, responsibly.
Check guests’ identification to verify the minimum age requirement for purchasing alcoholic beverages, in accordance with state and federal regulations.
Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
Maintain excellent attendance in accordance with the attendance policy.
