About The Position

This position is summer only from May to September/October at our Canalside location at 44 Prime Street, Buffalo, NY 14202. The hours of operation begin with weekends and will transition to full-time hours in late-May. Opportunity may be available to transfer to our Chicago Street Brewery location once the season ends. Evening and weekend availability is a must. Reporting to the Director of Tap Room Operations, the Concessions Lead will supervise and oversee daily shift operation at our Canalside location. This individual will ensure successful execution of daily operations and provide service to customers.

Requirements

• Minimum of two (2) years of service industry experience
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and operations
• Proficient with a POS system
• Excellent customer service skills, friendly, personable, supportive
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong work ethic; punctual and attentive to schedule
• Detail-oriented, approachable, accommodating
• Assertiveness
• Displays problem-solving skills and accountability
• Able to follow directions; promote cleanliness and protocols
• Flexibility; able to adapt to volume fluctuations
• Authorized to work in the US
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Toast POS system is a plus

Responsibilities

• Opening and closing duties
• Staff oversight
• Providing concessionaire and cook support if/when needed
• Addressing patron concerns and questions
• Escalating matters to the Director when necessary
• Ensuring compliance with company polices and mandated regulations
