About The Position

Resurgence Brewing Co. (RBC) aims to deliver memorable, tasty beverage moments to drinkers in the Greater Buffalo region. The Concessions Lead position is a summer-only role, from May to September/October, at the Canalside location. The hours of operation begin with weekends and will transition to full-time hours in late-May. There may be an opportunity to transfer to the Chicago Street Brewery location once the season ends. Reporting to the Director of Tap Room Operations, the Concessions Lead will supervise and oversee daily shift operations, ensuring successful execution of daily operations and providing service to customers.

Requirements

• Minimum of two (2) years of service industry experience
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and operations
• Proficient with a POS system
• Excellent customer service skills, friendly, personable, supportive
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong work ethic; punctual and attentive to schedule
• Detail-oriented, approachable, accommodating
• Assertiveness
• Displays problem-solving skills and accountability
• Able to follow directions; promote cleanliness and protocols
• Flexibility; able to adapt to volume fluctuations
• Authorized to work in the US
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds

• Experience with Toast (POS system)

Responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee daily shift operation at our Canalside location
• Ensure successful execution of daily operations
• Provide service to customers
• Perform opening and closing duties
• Provide staff oversight
• Provide concessionaire and cook support if/when needed
• Address patron concerns and questions
• Escalate matters to the Director when necessary
• Ensure compliance with company policies and mandated regulations
