About The Position

The Concession Worker prepares and serves food and beverages to guests, ensures food is presented well, and operates a cash register to accept payments. The role requires excellent attendance in accordance with the attendance policy. The hourly rate is $16.00–$18.00, and the position is tip eligible. Part-time benefits include a 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching. The position will remain open until December 31, 2026.

Requirements

• Excellent attendance in accordance with the attendance policy.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, positive attitude with coworkers, managers, volunteers, and guests.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three or more months of experience in the food service industry.
• Previous cash-handling experience, or willingness to learn cash handling and how to operate a cash register and corresponding system.

Responsibilities

• Take orders, build orders, and complete transactions at the cash register.
• Prepare food and maintain knowledge of all areas of concession operations.
• Monitor stock and supply levels and report low-stock items to the Concessions Stand Manager.
• Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns.
• Keep the workspace clean and organized, including disposing of garbage and cleaning dishes.
• Serve beverages, including alcoholic beverages, responsibly.
• Check guests’ identification in accordance with state and federal regulations to verify the minimum age for purchasing alcoholic beverages.
• Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
