About The Position

Oak View Group is hiring a part-time Banquet Server at The Bushnell. The role provides professional, efficient food and beverage service during events and helps ensure guests feel welcomed and attended to in accordance with event specifications and service standards. Banquet Servers set up banquet spaces, stations, and staging areas; deliver meal service; respond to guest needs; and work collaboratively with kitchen and event staff. They also maintain cleanliness and organization during service, help reset spaces for subsequent events, and clean and store equipment appropriately. The position pays $16.00–$20.00 per hour and will remain open until December 31, 2026.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent GED strongly preferred; equivalent experience may be substituted.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects often.
• Ability to carry at least 8 entrees per tray.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and select holidays.
• Knowledge of basic arithmetic, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Punctuality and consistent attendance.
• Ability to respond to simple customer complaints or inquiries.

Nice To Haves

• Six months to one year of work experience in events, banquets, or restaurants.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand banquet event orders.
• Provide fine-dining-level food and beverage service consistent with service standards.
• Initiate and maintain friendly, professional contact with guests, anticipating and meeting their needs.
• Set up and maintain food and beverage stations throughout the building.
• Maintain inventory for food and beverage stations.
• Keep event areas and front-of-house staging areas tidy and organized.
• Participate in setup and cleanup of food and beverage service items.
• Work independently during slower periods.
• Help create a safe and clean work environment.
• Maintain accurate and complete work.
• Maintain a customer-focused, positive, and professional attitude.
