About The Position
ECLARO is looking for a Computer Support Specialist for our client in Albany, NY. ECLARO’s client aims to enhance public services and promotes sustainable resource management, offering advanced solutions and services. The PMO is seeking to hire a Computer Support Specialist from the Admin Services Contract to perform Quality Assurance testing.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to pay attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Developing test plans.
- Writing detailed test cases based on project requirements.
- Perform manual testing of Client applications.
- Identify and document bugs in Client's Jira environment.
- Validate fixes by retesting identified bugs.
- Designing and executing manual and automated test plans for new features and releases.
- Building and maintaining a regression test suite to catch issues before they reach production.
- Performing exploratory testing to catch edge cases automated tests may miss.
- Partnering with engineers early in the development process to define acceptance criteria and testable requirements.
- Tracking, prioritizing, and reporting on defects to ensure timely resolution.
- Establishing QA metrics (defect escape rate, test coverage, time-to-detect) to measure quality improvements over time.
