Computer Support Specialist
About The Position
The PMO is seeking to hire a Computer Support Specialist from the Admin Services Contract to perform Quality Assurance testing. This employee will be responsible for developing test plans, writing detailed test cases based on project requirements, performing manual testing of DFS applications, identifying and documenting bugs in DFS' Jira environment, and validating fixes by retesting identified bugs. The role also involves designing and executing manual and automated test plans for new features and releases, building and maintaining a regression test suite, performing exploratory testing, partnering with engineers to define acceptance criteria, tracking and reporting defects, and establishing QA metrics. The position requires excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Up to 50% telecommuting may be permitted at the hiring manager's discretion.
Requirements
- Proof of eligibility to work in NYS
- 3 years of experience using Jira for test management or bug tracking
- 5 years of experience performing Unit, integration, UAT, regression, and system testing
- 2 years of experience performing QA testing on Agile projects
- 5 years of experience writing test scripts
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to pay attention to detail

Responsibilities
- Developing test plans
