Computer Science/Data AI Co-op Supply Chain
About The Position
The Supply Chain AI Co-op develops data products, analytics solutions, and AI capabilities to improve inventory optimization, demand planning, fulfillment, and supply chain visibility across Danaher operating companies. The role reports to the Manager, Solution Architect Engineering and is part of the Supply Chain AI - Danaher Organization. It is remote and covers Indiana. The co-op supports the development of data pipelines, analytical models, dashboards, and data engineering solutions. It also contributes to data quality work, AI and machine learning proof-of-concepts, collaboration with business and technical teams, and documentation, testing, and deployment of analytics and AI solutions.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, data science, information systems, industrial engineering, supply chain, analytics, or a related field.
- Experience with SQL and at least one programming language such as Python.
- Understanding of data analysis, statistics, or machine learning fundamentals.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms, data engineering concepts, or AI technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, AWS, or similar cloud platforms.
- Previous experience in supply chain analytics, inventory optimization, forecasting, or operations research.
- Previous experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Responsibilities
- Support the design and development of data pipelines using modern cloud data platforms.
- Assist in building analytical models and dashboards for supply chain planning and operational decision-making.
- Perform data profiling, cleansing, validation, and quality assessment across supply chain datasets.
- Develop SQL, Python, and data engineering solutions to support business initiatives.
- Participate in AI and machine learning proof-of-concepts focused on forecasting, inventory optimization, and supply chain insights.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, data engineers, and data scientists.
- Contribute to documentation, testing, and deployment activities for analytics and AI solutions.
