About The Position
The Computer Operator I provides operational support to product development and systems integration teams, lottery operations, and customers. The role monitors enterprise infrastructure, carries out daily computer operations tasks under supervision, and escalates issues as required. It also supports report verification and recovery activities to help restore normal operations.
Requirements
- Two-year technical college degree or comparable experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily operation of computer systems.
- Carry out all tasks on the daily checklist under supervision.
- Generate required reports and assist in verifying their validity and clarity before releasing output from Computer Operations.
- Assist with recovery activities necessary to restore normal operations.
- Follow the correct escalation procedures within Computer Operations and other departments.
- Perform other required tasks as assigned.
- Complete assigned annual information security training as appropriate.
