About The Position

This full-time day position is located at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. In this role, the CMMS Coordinator maintains the CMMS system and develops reports for the Facilities Operations Department. You will be responsible for the operation and maintenance (troubleshooting) activities associated with the utilization of the CMMS software. You’ll instruct staff in the general use of CMMS software and applications, as well as keep current with new CMMS developments within the CMMS industry. You’ll take an active role in periodic upgrades, continued development, and enhancement of the CMMS for monitoring and reporting departmental activities. You’ll develop and continuously update the inventory of all present and newly acquired equipment and compile information from engineering supervisory and management staff to develop automatic scheduling of preventive maintenance work orders, corrective maintenance work orders, and work orders detailing routine daily, weekly, and monthly equipment rounds. You will provide distribution of all work orders to respective leaders and produces monthly Quality Assurance status reports of all preventive and corrective maintenance work orders issued.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years experience coordinating and maintaining asset inventory utilizing a computerized maintenance management system in a healthcare facility or related business environment
  • Experience in data analysis in the facilities maintenance program, specifically in asset management, equipment failure analysis and/or spare part optimization.
