The Computational Scientist position is responsible for providing computational solutions to biological/clinical researchers, utilizing various techniques to explore, analyze, and visualize data from a wide range of complex biological and biomedical data sources. The Computational Scientist will also utilize the University's high performance computing resource to facilitate data collection and analysis, parallel computing, and large-scale data storage. This position will support the Computational Psychiatry Laboratory, led by Dr. Abigail Ortiz, that is at the forefront of computational psychiatry and digital phenotyping. Their mission is to transform how mood disorders are understood and managed by harnessing the continuous, passively collected physiological data that wearable technology makes possible.
