About The Position

The Complimentary AM Attendant helps guests begin their day with a welcoming and satisfying breakfast experience. The role includes preparing and providing breakfast items and beverages, maintaining food safety and cleanliness, and keeping dining and service areas clean, stocked, organized, and aligned with brand standards. The attendant greets guests, answers questions about hotel amenities and breakfast options, and shares information about local attractions. They anticipate guest needs, respond to special requests and issues, clear tables, refresh buffet stations, and assist with tasks such as dishwashing, restocking, and tidying. The position requires staying energized and professional while working on foot and during busy periods, and lifting and carrying items weighing 20–50 pounds.

The hotel is located in the East Memphis business district, near corporate offices and local attractions, with access to major highways. Hotel amenities include apartment-style suites, complimentary daily hot breakfast, an evening social Tuesday through Thursday, a 24-hour pantry, a fitness center, and a seasonal outdoor pool.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.

• Ability to remain energized while working on foot throughout a shift.
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing 20–50 pounds.
• Ability to remain calm and professional during busy periods.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in food and beverage or hospitality is a plus.

Responsibilities
