About The Position

Reporting to the Compliance Program Manager, this position will provide operational support to the Care Compass Compliance Program, with emphasis on training, risk identification and mitigation, and implementation of the internal audit plan. This position requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and communication to prevent breaches and disputes.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or certification from accredited program.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in compliance, risk management, or a related field, preferably in a healthcare environment.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other team members.
  • Skilled with computer programs such as Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Facilitation of meetings either in-person or via virtual platforms such as Zoom.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills;
  • Ability to work well with a diverse organization and in evolving situations.
  • Knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations related to healthcare compliance;
  • Experience with compliance and audit monitoring tools and methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Support collaboration and communication efforts between the Compliance Program and the other Care Compass core domains to ensure adherence to compliance standards and regulations;
  • Support the creation, maintenance, and tracking of accurate compliance documentation, including policies/procedures, templates, forms, annual trainings, and Covered Entity requirements;
  • In consultation with the Compliance Program Manager, support periodic assessments of the compliance programs of stakeholders and their ability to meet Compliance Programs requirements;
  • Assist with Compliance Committee administration to include preparation of meeting agendas, materials, minutes, attendance tracking, and contact list maintenance;
  • Contribute to the completion and implementation of the Care Compass Compliance Plans, Audit Plans, Risk Assessments, and Risk Mitigation Plans;
  • Assist with the maintenance, administration, and promotion of awareness and understanding, and ensure compliance with, required training programs and compliance documentation for Care Compass staff, governance bodies, and other affected individuals.
  • Under the direction of the Compliance Program Manager, support the completion of the Care Compass annual internal audit;
  • Assist in maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulatory guidance and recommend updates to the Compliance Program and Policies and Procedures, as needed;
  • Under the direction of the Compliance Program Manager, assist in the triage, investigation, and resolution of compliance matters that are brought to the attention of the Compliance Department;
  • Perform additional duties that advance the Compliance Program and support stakeholders, as assigned by the Compliance Program Manager.
