The Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of cross connection control, lead and copper testing, water service lines inventory, septic tank inspections and certifications, and any other State, Federal, or City regulatory programs impacting the Department of Public Works. This includes tracking requirements, record keeping, reporting, interacting with residents and business owners, and performing inspections. The role also involves coordinating legal action against non-compliant parties with the Southfield Legal Department, providing court testimony, and presenting evidence. Additionally, the coordinator will manage court procedures, coordinate department inspectors to balance schedules and obtain necessary inspections and reports, and prepare various documentation for record maintenance. This includes tracking inspections, Certificates of Compliance, and fees collected.
