About The Position

The Google Payments Compliance team safeguards Google's users and protects its products from fraud and financial crimes abuse by ensuring adherence to global Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF) regulations. The Identity Verification Operations team works with Product Management and Engineering to implement, manage, and enhance scalable and effective customer identity verification processes across Google products in support of Payments Compliance objectives. The Compliance Operations Analyst serves as a customer identification escalation contact and compliance tools product specialist. The role investigates operational issues, analyzes data, supports process improvements, manages system access, and coordinates process change requests. US salary: $90,000–$128,000 USD, plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits. Individual pay depends on factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience in compliance, risk management, investigation, auditing, legal, or consulting.

Responsibilities

Act as the primary point of contact for customer identification escalations and resolve complex issues.
