About The Position

This position is responsible for managing the licensing of all loan originators, including new sponsorships, branch transitions, adding states to individual licenses, and handling changes and terminations. The role involves updating information in NMLS, supporting loan originators with licensing questions, working within the High Rise internal notification system, arranging annual CE training, managing the OR state Ledger, and maintaining the Transitional Loan Officer (TLO) list. Additionally, the specialist will manage and maintain all MLO DRE licenses, handle VA Approvals, PIN, and Registration, back up the Licensing Admin with HUD approvals, and assist with annual LDP checks and dual employment approvals. The role also includes completing watch list checks on loan originators, assisting with ad hoc projects for Compliance Management, and supporting branch and state licensing efforts.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years work experience preferably in a corporate environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage licensing for all loan originators; includes new sponsorship, new branch transition, adding states to individual licenses, changes and terminations of LOs.
  • Update information in NMLS – make sure all LO information is correct and current.
  • Support individual LOs for any licensing questions.
  • Work in High Rise internal notification system.
  • Arrange annual CE training.
  • Manage OR state Ledger for loan originators.
  • Manage Transitional Loan Officer “TLO” list.
  • Manage and maintain all MLO DRE licenses.
  • VA Approvals, PIN, and Registration.
  • Backup Licensing Admin with HUD approvals.
  • Assist with annual LDP checks on all employees.
  • Support HR for Dual Employment approvals and maintain spreadsheet and approvals.
  • Complete watch list check on all loan originators; notify management when needed.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects for Compliance Management as needed.
  • Assist with branch and state licensing as needed.
