About The Position

Bounce is looking for a Compliance Specialist, Licensing to join our growing compliance team and reporting directly to our Compliance Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for acquiring, maintaining, and renewing the licenses and permits required for Bounce to operate across its full geographic footprint as a debt recovery organization. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, regulators, and external partners to ensure that Bounce remains in good standing across all jurisdictions. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented self-starter who can manage a high volume of filings, conduct regulatory research, and communicate findings clearly across teams. Requirements

2-3 years of experience in a compliance, legal, or administrative role
Associate's degree required
Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage competing deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Nice To Haves

exposure to debt collections, debt recovery, or financial services preferred.
Familiarity with debt collection licensing requirements and relevant regulations (FDCPA, FCRA, TCPA) is a strong plus.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience with NMLS or similar regulatory filing systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

Obtain and maintain all required state, local, and municipal licenses and permits necessary for Bounce to conduct debt recovery operations across its operating footprint.
Complete and submit new, renewal, amendment, and surrender filings across all jurisdictions, including via NMLS where applicable.
Conduct licensing and regulatory research to assess jurisdiction requirements and monitor changes in applicable law.
Maintain an organized licensing system, including certificate tracking, expiration monitoring, and regulatory correspondence.
Coordinate with executive officers and relevant stakeholders on fingerprinting, background checks, and other requirements tied to license filings.
Support compliance monitoring activities and assist in documenting and communicating results to management.
Assist with annual report filings, surety bond management, and other administrative compliance tasks as assigned.
Participate in state examinations and regulatory audits, as needed.
