About The Position

C&N is seeking a Compliance Analyst I to support its Compliance team by helping ensure the Bank meets regulatory requirements while protecting its customers and organization. In this role, the analyst will assist with compliance reviews, regulatory reporting, and data integrity initiatives while developing a strong foundation in banking regulations and risk management. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys research, problem-solving, and working with data to drive accuracy and compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field AND 0–2 years of audit, compliance, finance, or risk management experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with compliance reviews by evaluating processes, documenting findings, tracking corrective actions, and supporting recommendations that strengthen regulatory compliance.
  • Perform quality control reviews of HMDA and CRA data, maintain accurate regulatory records, prepare required filings, and support regulatory reporting activities.
  • Research regulatory requirements, assist with policy and procedure updates, and support responses to regulatory and compliance inquiries.
  • Support Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) initiatives, Fair Lending activities, committee preparation, and special compliance projects while contributing to continuous process improvement.
