About The Position

C&N is seeking a Compliance Analyst I to support its Compliance team. This role will help ensure the Bank meets regulatory requirements while protecting customers and the organization. The Compliance Analyst I will assist with compliance reviews, regulatory reporting, and data integrity initiatives, while developing a strong foundation in banking regulations and risk management. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys research, problem-solving, and working with data to drive accuracy and compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field AND 0–2 years of audit, compliance, finance, or risk management experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with compliance reviews by evaluating processes, documenting findings, tracking corrective actions, and supporting recommendations that strengthen regulatory compliance.
  • Perform quality control reviews of HMDA and CRA data, maintain accurate regulatory records, prepare required filings, and support regulatory reporting activities.
  • Research regulatory requirements, assist with policy and procedure updates, and support responses to regulatory and compliance inquiries.
  • Support Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) initiatives, Fair Lending activities, committee preparation, and special compliance projects while contributing to continuous process improvement.
