About The Position

The Complex Manager, Learning and Development oversees staff training and development, instructional design, and training management across the correctional complex. The role develops, implements, and/or manages training administration policies and programs for a large and diverse workforce, identifies complex-wide and individual development needs, and monitors or leads learning and development sessions in an environment that promotes self-development. The manager partners with management in decision-making to help meet goals and objectives for the complex and supervises and directs subordinate staff to accomplish program goals and requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; additional related work experience may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
• Three years of experience in the criminal justice field.
• Three years of experience in training, classroom instruction, or curriculum development.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office or similar software applications.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Nice To Haves

• Supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of learning management platforms.
