About The Position

The Complex Manager, Learning and Development provides oversight for the entire correctional complex in staff training and development, instructional design, and training management. The role develops, implements, and/or manages training administration policies and programs for a large and diverse workforce; identifies complex-wide and individual development needs; and monitors and/or leads learning and development sessions in an environment that promotes self-development. The manager partners with management in decision-making to meet complex goals and objectives and supervises and directs subordinate staff to accomplish program goals and requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; additional related work experience may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
• Three years of experience in the criminal justice field.
• Three years of experience in training, classroom instruction, or curriculum development.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office or similar software applications.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Nice To Haves

• Supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of learning management platforms.
