About The Position
An award-winning in-home care and assistance company is hiring caregivers and home health aides to provide care and assistance to clients in their homes. The role offers full-time and part-time schedules, with weekday and weekend availability and shifts across mornings, afternoons, evenings, and overnights. Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and understand English as needed for the job.
- Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
- At least 6 months of experience as a caregiver or home health aide in a healthcare setting, in homes or facilities.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal hygiene, including bathroom or bedpan use, bathing, oral care, shaving, and skin and hair care.
- Assist clients with ambulation and transfers.
- Help prepare meals and assist with feeding.
- Accompany clients on errands or to medical appointments.
- Perform light housekeeping.
- Provide medication reminders.
