About The Position

Coordinates and participates in the development, implementation and evaluation of diversity and health equity initiatives across the organization. Serves as a liaison to system wide departments requiring educational tools. Coordinates and participates in the performance improvement projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience, required.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as a liaison to system wide departments requiring educational tools; collaborates with management to create a vision and plan for health literacy activities throughout the organization.
  • Administers and analyzes readability pre and post tests and makes recommendations based on findings.
  • Provides stake holders with all necessary documentation and information; explores additional programs and training.
  • Monitors inventory of patient education materials.
  • Provides periodic updates, reports, and makes recommendations to management regarding: Health Literacy services in meeting the needs of patients, health care providers, and the community.
  • Provides resources and educates staff on health literacy in an effort to deliver services that align with the internal and government regulations.
  • Conducts meetings disseminates information, collects data, writes reports, and seeks expansion of diversity and health equity initiatives across the organization.
  • Coordinates and participates in the performance improvement projects, including writing grants, coordinating research projects and developing Center for Equity of Care documents.
  • Operates under general guidance and work assignments are varied and require interpretation and independent decisions on course of action.

  • Supports inventory management processes, including tracking, receiving, stocking, and distribution of materials and supplies.
  • Performs physical handling of inventory, including lifting, moving, and organizing materials in a warehouse setting.
  • Maintains an organized, safe, and efficient storage environment, ensuring materials are properly labeled and accessible.
  • Conducts routine inventory counts and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
  • Assists with packing, assembly, and preparation of supply kits or materials for programmatic use and community distribution.
  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing inventory flow and storage systems.
