About The Position

The Community Outreach Liaison for the Goodskills Career Builder Initiative serves as a bridge between the program and the community. The role focuses on building community partnerships, educating people about Goodwill programs and services, assessing prospective participants’ needs and fit, and increasing recruitment and participation. The liaison conducts outreach in person, online, and through social media, and follows up consistently with contacts and prospective participants. The position requires a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends.

Requirements

Marketing, sales, or recruitment background.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Valid New York State driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Strong Microsoft Office skills.
Comfortable conducting outreach in person, online, and via social media.
Flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Build partnerships with community organizations, agencies, and faith-based groups.
Educate community members about Goodwill programs and services.
Meet with potential participants, assess their needs, and determine program fit.
Follow up consistently with contacts and prospective participants.
Recommend and implement strategies to increase program recruitment and participation.
