For over 50 years PSS has performed vital and important work -- through its ten centers, two apartment buildings and affiliated programs. The agency touches on the lives of over 2,000 people each day. The Community Outreach Coordinator is responsible for expanding community awareness of NY Connects Brooklyn through outreach, public education, and partnership development. This position coordinates community engagement activities, delivers educational presentations, builds relationships with community organizations, and ensures Outreach and Public Education activities are fully documented and audit-ready in accordance with NYC Aging requirements. The ideal candidate is passionate about aging and disability equity, community engagement, and connecting historically underserved communities to essential resources and services. Reduce barriers to accessing benefits, programs, and long-term support. Strengthening community partnerships and increasing awareness of aging and disability resources throughout Brooklyn.
