The role requires a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, marketing, or a related field, or graduation from an approved school of nursing, therapy, or social work; equivalent years of work experience may substitute for degree requirements. Applicants need at least two years of relevant healthcare business development, community relations, marketing, or sales experience, as well as understanding of laws and regulatory guidelines governing Medicare-certified home health and hospice operations. Clinical applicants must maintain a clinical license when required by state rules. The position requires a valid state driver’s license, automobile liability insurance as required by law, dependable transportation, and the ability to drive safely in all types of weather. Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills are required, along with English fluency, active listening, and intermediate technology skills, especially Microsoft Word and Excel. Except for designated full-time remote positions, in-office attendance is essential to the role’s objectives; occasional remote work for temporary personal needs or extraordinary circumstances does not waive this function.
