About The Position

The Community Inclusion Professional (CIP) works entirely in the community in Mission Valley, San Diego, supporting a small group of clients, usually at a 1:3 ratio. Using person-centered approaches, advocacy, and empowerment strategies, the CIP helps clients participate fully in the community of their choice. The role includes coaching clients, leading activities, developing life, social, and vocational skills, supporting exploration of employment, volunteer, and educational opportunities, and documenting progress before the end of each shift. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Pay is $20.00 to $20.65. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid California driver’s license, auto insurance, and an acceptable DMV record.
Passion for empowering individuals with disabilities.
Ability to work as a team player and communicate effectively.
Organization, adaptability in community settings, and problem-solving ability with a positive attitude.

Nice To Haves

Six months of experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
Experience with case management systems; Therap is preferred.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Knowledge of person-centered planning.
