About The Position

Under the direction of the Program Manager, the Community Impact Coordinator I will be directly responsible for implementation efforts and ongoing support of an electronic client intake system using Salesforce, tracking data electronically and relationship building throughout San Bernardino County. In addition, the Community Impact Coordinator I will manage the collection, storage, analysis, and reporting of client data, drafting it into professional reports. This position is integral to the success of the CAPSBC Food Bank, supporting our efforts to utilize data to effectively, understand and serve food insecure clients throughout San Bernardino County, and requires extensive travel throughout the county plus occasional weekends or non-traditional hours.

  • Proficiently operate standard office equipment, including computer hardware and software applications associated with performance of assigned work (i.e., MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, Adobe Reader, Internet Explorer, and CRM data systems).
  • Maintain a database and conduct routine maintenance as needed to ensure data integrity.
  • Work with large data sets across multiple programs.
  • Prepare, analyze, and interpret reports, statements, and written material.

  • 1-2 years of reporting or data analysis preferably in a social service or non-profit organization

Responsibilities

  • Conducts technical trainings with public, private, civic, and non-profit agencies in one-on-one, group settings, virtual scenarios, and off-site throughout San Bernardino County.
  • Travel throughout the entirety of San Bernardino County to provide technical trainings, oversee client intake system implementation, assist with client intake, and general technical support.
  • Provide technical support for and proactively assist Salesforce Community Cloud users.
  • Serve as the lead facilitator for data-centric projects including gathering and compiling data from multiple sources.
  • Manage and administer electronic client intake system and year-round data collection.
  • Create reports, track performance, and enable the interpretation of data.
  • Design surveys to support CAPSBC Food Bank objectives and community health initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with community public, private, civic, corporate, and non-profit agencies engaged in hunger alleviation, food security systems, and anti-poverty work to maximize outcomes and NPI’s.
  • Perform administrative duties including data entry, data verification, duplication checks and mergers, and ensuring overall database integrity using Salesforce.
  • Utilize data to monitor, evaluate, and report on impact of programs and food distributions throughout the service area.
  • Develop community food insecurity profiles for zip codes, cities, districts and at the county level.
  • Troubleshoot data inconsistencies including duplicates, typos, and misapplication challenges.
  • Represents CAPSBC Food Bank for in-house meetings and external meetings as needed.
  • Recommend opportunities to improve, streamline, and optimize processes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Sick leave is earned at a rate of 3.69 hours per pay period for full-time employees.
  • 403b retirement program which CAPSBC contributes 6% of employee’s gross salary once the employee meets the program requirements and employees may voluntarily contribute up to the specified Internal Revenue Service Requirements.
