The Collective Impact Coordinator advances the Area Foundation’s community impact strategies by coordinating cross-sector efforts that drive alignment, shared action, and systems change. This role supports the implementation and ongoing coordination of collective impact initiatives that engage nonprofit, public, and community partners around common goals, recognizing the value of inclusive approaches that reflect the experiences of people across the lifespan. A central component of this work includes supporting the Foundation’s in-house collective impact initiative, Successfully Aging and Living in San Antonio (SALSA), which advances community priorities related to caregiving, housing, transportation, and social connection. This work supports strategies that strengthen connection and well-being within and across generations. The coordinator strengthens partner alignment, supports shared measurement and learning, and ensures effective coordination across initiatives. This position requires strong project management, relationship stewardship, and the ability to operate effectively within a complex and evolving ecosystem of partners and priorities.
